Some of the best in the biz attend the ACCE Annual Convention, and they’ll tell you it’s a can’t miss experience. Three jam-packed days leave you feeling energized and motivated to make your chamber of commerce the best it can be.

Each #ACCE18 full registration provides access to workshops, forums, general sessions, the Expo Hall, some meals, Welcome Reception, #ACCEAwards Show and the Closing Party, sponsored by AARP.

/ Registration options

Single day registration
Enjoy all activities that take place on the day you choose to attend. Discounts (early bird, first time attendee, etc.) are not valid for single day registrations.

Guest registration
Events purchased for all guest registrations must be purchased as a la carte, onsite.

Registration for non-members
If your organization or business is not a member of ACCE, contact Dana Ketterling at 703-861-9382 or dketterling@acce.org for information about registration. The non-member Annual Convention rate is $1009 per registrant.

A la carte items/events
Tours, trips and special dinners are purchased a la carte during checkout. These items are not included with the purchase of a full registration, unless otherwise noted.

Early bird
Register by Friday, May 18 to save $80 per registration*.

Buy more, save more
The first registrant from an organization pays the full rate, and each additional registrant from the same organization receives a discount of $65.

First time attendees
ACCE members attending the Annual Convention for the first time receive a $75 discount.

Iowa discount
Professionals at chambers of commerce in Iowa (that are ACCE members) receive a $50 discount. 

Additional discounts
Additional discounts may apply and will be automatically calculated during checkout.

 

/ Scholarships

Market Street Services scholarship
The Market Street Scholarship allows an emerging executive in the chamber world to attend the 2018 ACCE Annual Convention in Des Moines, Iowa from July 17–20. Market Street believes that the ACCE Annual Convention is a tremendous opportunity for those employed by a chamber to collaborate, learn, and network amongst their peers. Market Street will register and book all accommodations for the chosen applicant. No transfer of funds will be
made. All transportation, additional meals, incidentals, etc. of the chosen applicant while traveling and in Des Moines
are their responsibility and will not be covered by Market Street.

Scholarship for Leadership Diversity
The ACCE Scholarship for Leadership Diversity is a three-year professional development program designed to enhance the leadership capacity of chamber professionals from diverse backgrounds, including racial/ethnic minorities, women, those who identify as lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender, or those with a disability. Selected chamber professionals will engage in a range of professional development opportunities over the course of the program, equipping them with knowledge of best practices in chamber leadership, a strong peer network, and national connections to advance their work and careers.

SEAN scholarship
The State Executive Association Network (SEAN) is the networking group for leaders of their state chamber executive association. SEANs are charged with providing professional development and support for chamber executives in their respective state and region. If you are a State Executive Association interested in partnering with ACCE to award one scholarship to the ACCE Annual Convention, complete the SEAN scholarship application no later than May 11.

Mike Hauser and Shelia Lee scholarships
ACCE is pleased to offer two convention scholarships in the names of Mike Hauser and Shelia Lee, leaders of the chamber movement and ACCE, whose contributions remain alive long after their untimely passings. Many thanks to the dozens of donors to these scholarship funds!

Scholarship eligibility and additional info

Only completed scholarship applications received by 5 p.m. EDT on May 11 will be considered. Individuals who received a scholarship from ACCE in the last two years are not eligible. Chamber professionals of all levels and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Selection will be based on the most compelling application letter that includes financial need, professional aspirations and organizational benefit of convention attendance. Applications of first-time convention attendees may receive extra attention. Applicants from the seven states in which Mike and Shelia worked in chambers are strongly encouraged: California, Oklahoma, Colorado, Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas. ACCE Directors and Division advisory board members are not eligible to apply. The Annual Convention registration fee does not cover lodging or travel. Transportation, lodging, outings, incidentals, etc., are the responsibility of the scholarship winner, unless indicated otherwise. Applicants who are not members of ACCE will be billed the difference between the member ($889 USD) and non-member ($1009 USD) registration rate.

/ Cancelling or modifying a registration

ACCE will refund the full Annual Convention registration fee paid, minus a $50 processing fee, for cancellations received by 5 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 22. Because of meal guarantees, NO refunds will be made after June 22. Please note that not all event items are refundable. After ACCE receives your cancellation request, you will receive notification once your refund has been processed. Please allow four weeks for refunds to be processed. If you submitted a cancellation request but did not receive notification of receipt within one week of your request, contact Yodit Gebreyes at 703-998-3579 or ygebreyes@acce.org.

All modifications to Annual Convention registrations must be received by Friday, June 22 at 5 p.m. EDT. In some cases, there may be an opportunity to sign up for/purchase access to special events on site in Des Moines.
